The reported "Successful Assassination" of someone who has committed plenty of horrible crimes against many a people. Even his own.

I suppose it's a reason to celebrate.
Genuinely, I am glad another disgusting human being is gone.
Example: When the Seals infiltrated his room, the sick son of a bitch apparently grabbed a woman to act as his shield. One would argue that is was horrific for the Seals to lay waste to the woman and the entire room..
But, here is a moment where sacrifices must be made.
Shame those others had to die, however.. they knew they were with a wanted murderer/criminal/terrorist.

A coward to the end.

Though, nothing is changed per say..
The future has a slight better glow. There is some sense of security knowing he will not be able to continue his "actions."

But then again, I heard the news and thought..

I can't be bothered..

  1. I've said this before, I believe. And I am going to write a pretty provoking counter-post. (Not really though, since you can't be bothered.) But yeah, a life is a life. And we are not Gods. We do not have the right to serve our justice, just as he has no right to serve his. We are all wrong in the way we do things. We shouldn't turn against our oppressors and in return supress them. I'm not a christian, but Jesus wouldn't have done that and we all have a great deal to learn from him.

  2. I suppose, this is what they call Karma? As well, maybe the life of one sends a message. In this case, the life of one means the end of a horrible person. I am willing to bet that any one of his victims, victims families or even people would have given their life as did Jesus to cleanse the world of such crimes and hate. But the reality is that no sacrifice would have mattered to a man, and I use that term loosely, like him. Hitler took his own life, Saddam.. faced his death. Bin Laden, took a human shield. I'm not sure what the best view is on this, but I will say..

Things WILL get interesting, in the days to come. It will not be pretty. :/

  3. An eye for an eye makes the whole world blind.

  4. At least then, you can't "See" what you "Hate." Or here's another one..

If someone had not started it, there would be no problem. However, where there is a beginning.. there is always and end.
    Savvy?

  5. Of course. But why not try to avoid an end where we're all blinded?
I SAY AGAIN. WHAT WOULD JESUS DO?!:P

  6. Basically, the reason Jesus had to die for our sins was so that we could be forgiven and go to be with the Lord. Jesus is God in flesh (John 1:1,14; Col. 2:9) and only God can satisfy the Law requirements of a perfect life and perfect sacrifice that cleanses us of our sins.

All people have sinned against God. But, God is infinitely holy and righteous. He must punish the sinner, the Law- breaker. If He didn't, then His law is not Law for there is no law that is a law without a punishment. The punishment for breaking the Law is death, separation from God. Therefore, we sinners need a way to escape the righteous judgment of God. Since we are stained by sin and cannot keep the Law of God, then the only one who could do what we cannot is God Himself. That is why Jesus is God in flesh. He is both divine and human. He was made under the Law (Gal. 4:4) and He fulfilled it perfectly. Therefore, His sacrifice to God the Father on our behalf is of infinite value and is sufficient to cleanse all people from their sins and undo the offense to God.

The only thing that confuses me about this, is if the sacrifice he made is infinite...
Why then, is there a Hell?
And by what criteria do people go there, based off of this?
As well, is the sacrifice was in fact infinite why then is there a reason for "Judgment?"

So in fact, Jesus would have taken his own life only to have more people die anyways.. it seems.
Perhaps maybe the Greeks had it right? God/Gods are to be feared. If there is no repercussion for your actions, then what in fact is a sin? What is a crime? In a sense, Bin Laden's death is a forced reversal of what Jesus did don't you think? By removing Bin Laden, thousands now are saved...

Maybe that isn't completely factual, but everyone will die. Hopefully, the reason we are killed justifies the death. Even though we know, that isn't exactly how it goes. Or perhaps the murder of Bin Laden was part of God's plan..
Because in fact isn't it written that we are ALL part of God's plan?

  7. Aha!... That was all very heavy. But yeah, I understand your approach. And I aggreen to a point. But you know that to me there's really just a black and a white in these cases.

And Obama's speech made me sick. It was so wrong to my ears. My soul responded with; "Fuck off!"
And that's all I need to know.

An eye for an eye may be righteous, but it'll still do us only harm.
